Overview
Deploy Dalmatian on your own server, then connect it to Slack or Discord.
Dalmatian is open-source software you self-host. You provision a small Linux server, run a one-line install script, and access the dashboard at a URL tied to the server's IP. Every agent's files, conversations, and credentials stay on that server.
Setup is three steps:
- Provision a server on one of the supported clouds. The install script handles the rest.
- Open the dashboard, create your first user, and connect a language model.
- Create an agent, then connect it to Slack or Discord.
Pick a cloud
The result is the same on every provider. Pick whichever you already have an account with.
- DigitalOcean 2 vCPU / 4 GB droplet.
- Hetzner CX22 server. 2 vCPU / 4 GB.
- Vultr 2 vCPU / 4 GB Regular Performance instance. Startup script saved before deploy.
Configure your first agent
Once the server is up, every cloud converges on the same dashboard.
